I have owned every Playstation Console to date so why wouldn't I care about a PS4?    While I may be a 360 supporter, I am not anti PS3 or anti Sony for that matter.  And to be honest you have no fricking clue as to what your talking about.

I obviously want to talk about the next Playstation or I wouldn't have said anything.  And just because it isn't something you want to talk about, matters very little to me.  If activision and other 3rd party developers drop support do you really believe the PS3 will be around in 8 years?  It would be lucky to make it 3.  And so yes the question is relevant.

No, I think it will get a price cut, as Sony is targetting 13 million sold PS3s in the fiscal year (which is unlikely even with a price cut), and they're not expecting a profit. Both those things point to a price cut this year.

My point is they've been delaying the price cut for as long as possible. From a competition perspective, Sony would have liked to cut prices earlier (since they've been consistently outsold by the competition).

@Staude: And don't you think they want to sell more than the 360?

If the PS3 cost $300 to make, I'm pretty sure they'd price it at $250-$300, not $400.
