I guess my main problem with this copy-thread is, that everyone can tell by your sig and your avatar, that you didn't start out with Sony consoles.

Lulz owned. bout time someone mentioned this.

When my camera broke and I wanted to get a new one, I found out that Sony had not continued the line (DSC-F717 was folowed by DSC-F828 but then discontinued).... the camera was awsome though and every review I ever read praised it. I guess they found that the roatating lense was too much of a mechanical liability?

After that I guess I also started to see a lessening quality in sony TVs and such in comparison to the competition so I got more attracted elsewhere.... now I don't look firstly for Sony products, I actually look at them last as they are usually more expensive (last in my list of viable products... others I don't even look at).

For games... I think they discredited themselves in every possible way this gen... PSP crackable and PSP 2000 crackable before release (....), Outrageous price points (PS3 is still way overpriced imho and the PSPGO's price is a joke), unprecedented delays in games (that or unprecedended early presentations with the only purpuse to bait the customer for something comming 3 years later...).

lol despite this being a mimic thread its actually more relative. More people have left Sony than Nintendo ...

THIS!!!

LOL seriously... I gave up on Sony when they announced that the PS3 was going to cost an arm and a leg because they decided to make it Blu-Ray exclusive, not to mention the mass exodus of third parties from Sony's camp that just a few short years ago were making games exclusively for Sony platforms.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

People may claim to leave Sony but Sony will never leave them.

The PS3 may be seen as the rich person's console but as time goes on it becomes cheaper without having to fork out for online play.

I know what you mean man... that 50 bucks a year for Xbox Live is like totally a bank-breaker.... why, 6 years of paying for Live could buy me a Blu-Ray player!

But then... I wouldn't have any money left over to afford actual Blu-Ray movies @ $30 a pop!

Right between 599 and US Dollars

this and the fact that there really wasn't any price cut for ps3 they just dumbed down new versions taking out of them BC and some other parts.

i still have fun with my psp and ps2, but i will probably never buy their home console anymore unless it will be for like 100$ just to play those few exclusive games i wanted.

Your sarcasm does not hide the fact that 6 or 7 years of online play almost buys a PS3 in its own right. Something that adds great value to the PS3's price.

The moment they announce the price and claiming that they would outsell the competition regardless

Lol at Sony

What are you looking at, nerd?
