i had a similar experience to you, kwaad. i snagged the last copy at my local gamestop about 3 days ago. didn't find a used one tho! i generally prefer to buy new anyway not because i'm afraid of the quality of the disc, but because i'd rather give my money to the developer than Gamestop. Then again, i never pass up a really good used deal like your situation with motorstorm

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

indeed, it feels good to support the developer, and if it sells well, it makes the developers put more work into the sequel or online patches.
