Forums - Gaming - Ghostbusters On PS3 Lags Behind 360 Version : ( Dev's Explain Why )

It is pretty noticeable... at least with the screen shots. Idk, personally get it for whatever system you like the best. I mean, why bother searching sometimes for the "better" one. Good thing I have one HD console so I wouldn't be looking this up all the time.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

"Graphics don't matter" as the Wii fanboys say. Even though I have pretty powerful PC. I still buy games for Xbox 360. Buy the game for your favorite system.

Wow the differences are glaring. Seriously, the ps3 version looks almost like a PS2 game.

And to those saying its a shitty port, from my understanding it was made on the ps3 and ported to the 360.

Since he worked on the game he might have some inside info.

Well, as properly noted in the OP, given the simple fact of how most multiplatform titles look the same, and how PS3 exclusives can look fantastic, the fault here clearly lies with the underlying engine and the developer rather than the PS3.

It does look a lot worse on PS3, no questions asked, and and their is plenty of evidence it shouldn't. It looks playable, and in the end the graphics don't affect the gameplay, script, etc. but it is quite the surprise these days to see such a marked difference - and it's pretty ironic of course given the relative closeness of the title brand to the Sony brand.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I agree, something is wrong with the engine.  For Multi-Platform games, this is probably the worst showing campared to the 360 version.

Lower textures, Lower Resolution, Less effects (the burn marks), longer load times even with an 8-min install, and more screen tearing. Most of the multi-platform games are really close when comparing the two versions by GB seams to be an exception.
