Forums - Sony - What will the gameplay be like in Last Guardian?

So I was watching this at IGN:

http://ps3.ign.com/dor/objects/14230646/ico-project/videos/lastguardian_spc_rewindtheater_061509.html

and he had some good points.  He mentions that all you see as far as gameplay goes involves being stealthy, so while Ico was mainly about puzzles, and SotC was all about fighting Colossi it looks like Last Guardian could be about sneaking around and avoiding conflict as much as possible.  Also interested in the pet aspects mentioned near the end of the video that suggests that you will be able to feed and take care of your Kittydragon (think I heard that term on Joystiq and I like it).

So what do you guys think Last Guardian will play like, and conversely what do you want it to play like.  Looks like it may be more like Ico than SotC which is the less popular of the two, but I personally look forward to their take on stealth.

I agree with this...i think platforming, puzzle solving, stealth combined with takin care of Andy will be the main focus. I expect NO combat all

Well the video showed the player throwing a barrell at a guard, so if you count that as combat I guess there is some.

Fine....i expect very very little combat..hopefully swimming is in it...i love swimming and water in general in SOTC

I think I heard somewhere that you can command you kittydragon to do certain things base on which part of the body you cling to (I imagine Head = Move, Body = Defend, Back = jump etc) which would be kind of interesting. I wouldn't be suprise if the 6 axis is somehow incorporated into the control and depending on its release date, even aspect of Sony's motion-tech.

Bundling this game with the motion-tech would be a pretty smart move, it's obviously a more family oriented game as it is not ultra violent, and the art is stunning enough to turn heads not to mention a developer with the pedigree of team ico will be taken very seriously by the core audience.

This is one of the few game that has the potention to bridge, mass market and core-audiences that Sony has.

I think platforming and puzzle solving and trying to stay away from the guards as much as possible. It's clear the game won't have the Massive scale Shadow of The Colossus had.

anyway one of the most anticipated game this gen for me

I think will be:
battle of colossus, but now you will have to use your Kittydragon and not your sword/bow
+
Puzzles... lots of puzzles with need to use the kitty
+
exploring
+
tamagochi/chocobo style of taking care of kittydragoon
+
Stealth

Yeah... maybe sounds to much for one game...

Puzzles, Stealth, Platforming... and some bigass boss battles.
