They've just been in a bit of a rut lately. They're getting out of it- just look at AC2 and Conviction!
No, maybe we should do a "Boycott Activision Except For Call Of Duty" or a "Boycott EA's bad games"

Wii owners were supposed to boycott Ubisoft because they were funding their big budget games for the 360 and PS3 with the sales of their horrible casual games that they were releasing on the Wii. That's what I was referring to. I think that they have developed plenty of good games and plenty of bad games. This is what most really big developers like Ubisoft do. It's definitely a business for them. |
Can you tell me the good games (in your opinion of course) they made in this gen for the consoles? I haven't played the Rainbow Six series yet, and I heard that was good.
I mean, I really find it outrageous that ALL 3 of the games I bought, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 2, and Splinter Cell: Double Agent were absolute dissapointments. I have yet to bought a single Ubisoft game that I enjoyed this gen.

Bad Company was fun as hell, and Mirror's Edge was fun despite it's horrible flaws showing that the original gameplay they imagined was that good. They just need to add some stickiness for easier platforming and acceibility to non-hardcore fans of the series (I myself don't play a lot, so I have to "warmup" before I can actually attempt at a speedrun. I think that with a LOT more levels and playing hours, a better story, and other touchups they could do better. That isn't to say Mirror's Edge was a bad game, it was a good game, a A game, just not the AAA they were expecting.
If I had extra cash (baisicly if I get a summer job) then I'll definetly buy Bad Company 2 and MAG.

I feel exactly the same.

Well... I'm a Wii owner so the games I've played is different. I think the the Rabbid games are fun for what they are and Shaun White's Snowboarding on the Wii was really good. Splinter Cell: Double Agent definitely wasn't nearly as good as it's predecessors and Red Steel wasn't what it was hyped up to be. With the Wii motion + though, I'm sure that the sword controls on Red Steel 2 will be fantastic.

Which is why I said their bad games. Not all of their games are bad. Most are just disappointing, and worse than previous entries in the series- Bad Company, Burnout Paradise, NFS Undercover (which really was bad), but most of them are still good.
Thanks for letting us know you misspelled those names on purpose. I'd have never known...

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!
Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
