I won't be able to follow you guys. If I play again, that will be by taking all my notes and ultra completing the game.
I already got everything in the japanese version, but never finished the european one with the added weapons.
If I start a FFVII playthrough, it will take me 250+ hours to complete and maxing (nearly) everything for sure.

You're right, it can't be added to attack, i've tried the added effect - hades to my weapon, even with both materia mastered, and paralyze is not an effect. I first thought it could be done, since Hades is a mega Bad Breath kind of attack, and it does add Paralyze to Ruby if you use Hades, but doesn't add it to your weapon. To this moment it can only be done with dazers, hoping to find someway to add it, as it will make the battle easier (I don't find it very hard to be honest, you just need the right set of materia and elemental defense, coupled with ribbons and a high dexterity stat).

Which version of sephiroth? Bizarro or Safer Sephiroth? Also, did you use the save crystal in the beginning of the cave? If you have it stored, you can create a save point just before the descent to the final battles.

Didnt you pick up the save crystal in the first treasure chest in the cave?

Its there to be used near the bottom of the cave. I find the best place to use it is where the cave splints off onto the left and right paths.

I am where Cloud is disguised as a Soldier mercenary. My levels are Cloud at Lv 17, Tifa at Lv 16, Aeris at Lv 15, Yuffie at Lv 17, Barret at Lvl 16, and Red XIII at Lv 16. I just got Cloud's first Lv 2 Limit Break while every one else is still at Lvl 1. I dated Aeris in the game. I know she will die at the end of disk 1 from watching my bro playing it 5 or so years ago and because of that, I feel sorry for her.

That's Safer. Supernova shouldn't be doing that much damage to you, since it does 15/16 of your total HP. Try using a Wall spell, or Big Guard Enemy Skill if you have it, it will cut the damage to 7/16 of your total HP. Also make sure you use a Ribbon in one of your character, especially one with Esuna-All, or White Wind Enemy Skill to cure all ailments that Super Nova and Pale Horse cause.

No super nova took 3000 plus damage, its when he hits directly with a physical attack, I was getting ready to summon Neo Bahamut and he hits the character and he dies in one shot..

Also how do you get Big Guard?
