Oh god no, not forest levels! Those are always the worst in any FF...

The game is looking decent, FFs don't really impress me anymore, though. It's probably because the past ones have had below average gameplay and been pretty short.

The E3 trailer was awesome, I am not much more hyped about it than before. Download the trailer on either XBOX360 or Ps3 and see for yourself.

Actually, I don't care for FF13 and I don't "have problems".  It looks to be more of what I don't like about all FF's since 7 (except 9) only prettier. 

*  Cumbersome battle system - real time or near real time would be so much better.

*  Convoluted, overly long summon animations and spell effects

*  Convoluted, emo and preachy story elements

*  Androgenous character design

 

I have been playing RPG's since Ultima and the original Final Fantasy.  Just because I don't like the direction this series has taken does not mean that I "have problems".

I am really excited for VERSUS (though it will have the last 2 points I mentioned) the real time nature of it will be cool.

To be honest looks as generic a Final Fantasy as Ive ever seen. Not that impressed with the graphics on the open world map.

But I will still be buying this one. Hopefully I actually complete this one and not quit after 20 hours like I did with FF12.

i just meant those screens!? not the entire game, for god's sake!

and the game looks great, but these screens are far away from "amazing"

i'll download the trailer btw, thanks for telling, i'll buy this game when it comes out     :  )

 

the sure thing is that the final version will look better, FF always has good graphics



don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Oh my god this is what I hate about gaming forums.

Most gamers don't like Final Fantasy, opinions are opinions, LIVE WITH IT.

Hey, I never said I didn't have problems, just that I don't have problems related to me not liking FF13 .  My response was not merely to you directly, but to all who might post such things (a preemptive strike as it were).  You will find that there is very little that actually offends me, but it is enjoyable to engage in a bit of friendly sparring on the internet - where it really makes no difference whatsoever.

See, I told you I have problems, don't we all???

Now, can someone start a VERSUS thread?
