Remember the days when in the late 1980s NES is 8bit and the megadrive is 16bit!
Well I came up with all the main gen consoles bits are.

The Odyssey is 1 bit. It has two colors blue and white!

The Atari 2600 is 2 bits

Processors are no longer dependent on bit-count to prove their worth or might. My old 1998 Pionex desktop ran on a 32-bit processor, and the 2008 Dell laptop i have utilizes a 32-bit processor.

 

PS3 and 360 are probably 32-bit (64 at most), i would estimate, while Wii is 128-bit (since GC was, and Wii is architecturally identical), but the superiority is opposite of that.

BTW this is what I think how the graphics are in bits in every generation.

SMB 4-bits? Do OP even know what bits are?

Bits are the processor word length. Atari 2600 is 8-bit just like the NES, but the NES has a faster processor and more powerful parts, therefore it is more powerful.

Xbox 360 and PS3 are actually 64-bit. Wii is 128-bit.

You can't define power by bits. Remember the Atari Jaguar? It was 64-bit but its games looked worse than SNES games.
