But if we do that, then we might as well say we hate live action as well. How many, not only Scary Movies, but the god awful spinoff movies (Meet the Spartans, Date Movie, Disaster Movie, etc) did we have? How many Bourne wannabes did we have? How many dance movies did we have? SAWs?

If we're going be how much crap each median has, live action has plenty of them as well.

But no one says they hate live action, because they don't just think of the most prevalent movies in live actions. They're aware of the diversity of live action movies, and most likely their favorite live action movie they watched.

I also feel like we're neglected manga, which is a shit load more diverse than anime. We also shouldn't really compare TV anime to live action movies.

Ghibli movies like Nausicäa, Laputa, Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neigbour Totoro,Princess Mononoke and the depressing/tearjerker Grave of the Fireflies are among my favourite movies.

I'm probably the only one who likes Naruto as well (although I've only seen the first season yet). I suppose it's a bit silly but I also think it has a lot of heart. Just my two cents

you're not the only one :p There are some things I cannot stand about naruto (the horrible amount of fillers and the english acting) but overall it's a great series. you have to watch more than the first season though <_<!!  Shippuuden is just about to get good again- sasuke is back

Glad I'm not the only one! Naruto is not on TV or DVD here, but fortunately I can always import from the UK. Good thing the Japanese voices are on those DVD's as well  I hate dubbed stuff, yuk. I always watch DVD's with orignal audio.

Thats is the worst mis-interpretation of anime ever, as each individual Author sides with there own specific artstyle.

Two great examples Slam Dunk (BEST SPORTS ANIME EVER) which goes for a more realistic approach then Bleach which your generic run of the mill shonen anime.

If anyone wants to start watching anime just look at One piece, Yu Yu Hakusho and Slam Dunk(Not saying those animes are for kids). If your a bit older like 15-21 I advise to watch Elfen Lied, Berserk, Claymore and Full Metal Alchemist.

It's not really my thing but I wouldn't say that I hate it. I did see one recently that I did like though called sword of the stranger

I thought I hated it, but I used to watch Lupin the 3rd on adult swim.
