Because I would consider myself a gamer, but, had it not been for the Wii, I probably wouldn't own a present-gen console right now... and, at present, I can count the games that would make one of the HD twins worth purchasing to me on one hand.  And I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat.

 

Anyhow, my point was that there's plenty of appeal in the Wii for a gamer.

I'm sorry but I don't want his hostility in here. Here are some examples from his reply:


"THOUSANDS of times" um...hyperbole much? Sorry that I don't know every Iwata quote.


"...dont give a damn..." thats nice.

 

"...you have realized that by now" Um, no I haven't sorry.

 

But this is the one I take offense to: "this kind of threads are ridiculous. Move on."


- I'm sorry that I sat here trying to come up with a good conversation starter with some serious questions. Maybe I'll just stay out of the Wii forum if I'm going to be attacked like this within 30 minutes of starting a new thread.

I gave you a straight answer, I don't know why some people are so angry =P though there are a lot of serious gamers on the Wii, it's not like I only own one console lol, my most play time is actually Wii>PC>PS3>>>>>360 personally. Once you are used to PC graphics, you really would only care about the game play experience for the most part on consoles, PS3 and 360 graphics don't impress me but I like some of the games on them if they are not on PC.

well the PS3 doesn't have that many great games lol, but I'm only saying that because I hate dual analog console shooters and I usually return them in a week.

Yeah sorry thats just how I talk. I say "gamer" and "people who play games."

 

My definition of gamer would be yours of "hardcore gamer" I guess. Gosh I hate that term (my reasoning in an earlier post).

well if he really is 17 like it says in his profile then it can be a life style, until his reality kicks in a few years later =).
