let me in on that train... You should have Cole driving that train from Gears...

We don't need Cole for the Mass Effect 2 train, we've got Wrex. :)

Is that HAD Wrex, or is there a plot line from the original Mass Effect I don't know about?

Dude, You can save his life instead of shooting him... i suggest you play through it again and save him... NOW!!!

Wrex is the only meat sheild in the game who actually inflicts bodily damage from trucking you and that talent can actually be trained. He must make it to part 2.

While Wrex is a amazing meatshield. The only squad-member on your team who is capable of gettin ga 14.5/sec HP regen (only being beat out by shepard himself, who can hit upwards to 17/sec HP Regen with achievements and the 50% renegade bonus). Coupled along with his immunity, barrier, heavy armor and unnaturally high HP makes him a monster to take down. Even on insanity. I never liked him too much. I don't know why.

Edit - There was ONE time where I thought wrex was the ultimate badass. I had him equiped with two exoskeletons for the extra melee force. Then gave him a shotgun with sledgehammer rounds. He ran around knocking everything on their asses repeatedly. It was very effective, in smaller groups. More effective than Liara's Singurity or Lift. Infact, while I was using Lift wrex was able to knock a guy straight into space with his shotgun melee. it looked like he was hit with baseball bat!

*Spoilers*

I couldn't do it, I just couldn't kill Wrex :( I went into the game this time determined to be the ultimate badass but Wrex is just too awsome to kill.

@NightstrikerX

I didn't even know you had to do any of that to save Wrex. I just visited random systems with Wrex in my party and when we found the armor I thought nothing of it. I made it through the entire game on my original playthrough with Wrex alive :)
Although I did kill Ashley, but she got on my nerves a lot...

I almost always kill ashley. Kaiden is a much more useful squad-member than Ashley, Wrex is a much better meatshield, Liara makes for a much more interesting romance story, and Shepard usually can dish out equal, if not more damage than ashley by giving him the assault rifle bonus perk. She's prolly the weakest character in the game, and the fact that she's racist to the aliens worries me.

Garrus is more useful than Kaiden and he is a potent sniper and he's got tech powers. Good thing the next game allows you to give out orders to each person instead of both, because next game Garrus will stay behind me. As for Ashley, she is a demon with an assuault rifle. Kaidan dies faster than her whenever I play with them.

I used Wrex the exact same way.

Ashley can be a demon with a assault rifle since she uses overkill almost every chance she gets, allowing her to spray down entire plattoons of mobs without any difficulty what-so ever. But at higher levels when you can equip a HMWA VII or X with frictionless materials and kinetic coil to give yourself a chaingun effect with a assault rifle. Even if you are untrained with the assault rifle. This combo yields VERY dangerous results and often can give any shepard class more killing power than Ashley.

As for Kaiden, why is he dying alot for you? With both Electronics and Barrier maxed out. He gets 1270 Shields. With a good set of armor, preferred Predator L. Kaiden can achieve over 1600 shields. He's one of the more durable characters out there, but his durability spikes and drops with his barrier. He's nigh unkillable with barrier, but it's a shame he doesn't have Shield Boost.

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?

Kaiden is a biotic freak, but because of how good the story was I took to Ashley quite quickly. She and Wrex together are the fastest way to beat Saren. Kaiden always dies before she does. I had to max out his barrier because of it. Ashley takes longer to kill and when u max out her soldier, she takes doses of medi-gel better than Kaiden. For the most part though, I keep her because she is the significant other, rather than Liara. Liara is the most annoying than Tali; both ask too many questions and pry too much.

I'd take that back if I were you!

Tali's insatiable curiosity is endearing, whereas Liara is just irritating.

LOL...I wish I could take that back, but someone 'ought to shove something in her breathing hole.

Wait you can get with Ashley too?! What have I done D:

I've reported your post, sir.  Expect a permaban shortly.

Seriously, though, I do admit that at times Tali came across as nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Quarian race.  I hope in ME2 we'll get to learn more about Tali instead of just the Quarians.

Shes just as powerful as Kaiden, so I value her more than him. I just wish she'd shut up. Other than that shes very valable with her quick adaptation withh biotics and tech abilities. :)

sign me up ! Mass effect 1 is awesome (completed 8 times and have every character with colossus X armour) Mass Effect 2 looks like its gonna be even better
