the 360 is outselling the ps3 by rougly around 20k units a week.. that translates to almost a million units a year. So the gap is not increasing by much, but its still growing nonetheless.
PS3 price cut would be matched by a 360 price cut. simple as that. blu ray disc prices need to come down to DVD levels for that format to succeed. Its ironic that SONY's greed is whats going to fail the format or slow its growth in the long run.
GT5 and FF13 in japan should give sony a 1million boost easily. A price cut should drop that gap further by another million. But MS have alan wake, halo:odst and forza so while SONY is likely to gain in japan, europe and NA might still be in MS's hands.
Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.
