Forums - Sony - I Think my PSP is Broken???!!!???

Hey Everyone, I have a PSP since launch and I don't know why but when I put a UMD inside, It just keeps loading and loading, and loading. I can leave it for hours and nothing. What should I do?

No, seriously though, that sucks. I haven't heard of this issue yet. If nobody on this site can help you I would say call Sony customer service and see what they can do for you. Or you can just skip the waiting part and call them now if ya want...well in the morning when they open rather.

What game is it?

Most likely if its probably a game that is horrible at loading like Midnight Club on the PSP. Now that game is horrible at loading content off the PSP itself.

Either its a problem with the UMD or the PSP itself . Go to a store or send it to Sony if it has any problems :)

I'd try another game. If that doesn't work, it's time to get the new PSP Lite! :)

Laser might have gone, if it has and you're technically minded its not that hard to replace

 Agree ... the Piano Black was released in the US to ... and its only 170 $ :)

Seems to be the most reasonable solution for me. Its time to get the Lite.

Could be the game. With my Nes, sometimes the game wouldn't load, but another would. I enedced up throwing out the game and re-buying from the now defunked FunKo land
