Once I accidentally wrote something in an African tribal language. It was pretty embarassing when I realized I couldn't read what I was writing.

The upload was an accident, but it's illogical to think that the creation of the site (especially the big black and blue FF13 logo banner) was an accident. Even if there was a slight possibility that the english site got "mistranslated" to Japanese, the image of the logo is in Japanese and there's no "errors" there.

TBH, I expect FF13 will be released 3-6 months after the PS3 version(in Japan). If they're going to make the game run on the 360 for the US/EU, why not release an already finished product in Japan. Sure, the sales may not be on FF's usual scale and the hardware increase may not be as much as the PS3's release, but why not take advantage of the 1 million Japanese xbox users?... after all, 25% of the HD market in Japan consist of 360 users.

Maybe 360 version will release in Japan as well in spring 2010. I don't think square will want to miss 100-150k sales of FFXIII port.

the Japanese page is probably designed by default to translate into Japanese, so if this is an accident I guess it could be possible for them to upload English text that was automatically translated by the site.

yeah, it probably was designed, and if you read my previous post I was hoping this was real, but I was simply throwing out ideas to see how probable an "accident" like this would be. Your comment just made the probability a lot less.

There is a slight possibility that this was an accident but I think it's much more likely this was done as a marketing ploy to generate rumours that FFXIII will be coming to the 360 in Japan to reduced the number of people buying a PS3 due to FF exclusivity. Then again, maybe it actually will come to the 360 (see the marketing ploy is already working )!

@bodhi14. Well it is possible.. but the logo does argue against that. Anyways if it's not a part of the background picture but just a text layer then it is possible.
