Don't forget Space Jump and Screw attack for jumps, too. Grapple beam would be great for gymnastics and hammer throw.
Chief will win most strength events, like weightlifting. He can bench a Warthog, after all. He'll take boxing for sure, Samus isn't much of one for fisticuffs.

Master Chief is just a soldier who wears armor that looks alot like a dirt bike gear, Samus is a war god mech suit beast who destroys planets. I'm going to have to say that girl power wins this one.

I've never liked the Haloid video, it was basically exaggerated to make the battle seem even. In an actual fight, Samus would win. I'm sure monty just made it like this for fan service... And then again, I feel monty's videos aren't really as good as they're cracked up to be. It all depends on the characters you use... Haloid was what brought him much of the fame he has today. |

Samus vs Master Chief is pretty ambiguous really.
In a fight? Samus would win, simply because the level of technology in her setting is hundreds of years ahead of Master Chief's, and the level of battle experience etc is roughly equal.
In sales? The Chief takes the cake, even if you count Metroid Prime 3 and ignore Halo 3. I don't see this changing, even if this would be the last Halo game and they'd keep doing Metroid for another decade.
Coolness? They're both kickass warriors in power armour equipped with kickass gear and saving humanity. I would still say they have different types of appeal though, and it comes down to personal preferences in the end.
Haloid is generally pretty awesome, although a few things annoy the hell outta me. I'm a great fan of over-the-top violence, but stuff like bouncing a sniper rifle shot through 50 guys is too much for even me. And let's not even get started with the final scene...
Samus. Too many advantages.

lol, that video is funny. It's so over the top and I love the ending because it causes Halo fanboys to foam at the mouth.
