Uncharted 2 releasing sometime around Sep

if price cut around this time along with holiday sales, expect big sales for this but i still only think 3mil LTD max



Predictions

GT5 will sell 3.2million + first week on ps3 (made 06 March 2010)

FFXIII Versus will have higher Metacritic scores than FFXIII after the first month.... Bet going on with perpride - loser changes sig for a month

KH3 will be PS3 EXCLUSIVE - willing to bet removal from vgchartz for a month

lol, Uncharted barely made to 2.5mln being heavily bundled for like a year or so and in Platinum series for some time. and some people think it will sell more than 3mln LTD? good luck. just like Killzone 2 selling 2.5-3mln by the end of 2009, huh? or maybe like Infamous?
without bundles it won't even reach 2mln LTD.

not to mention that sales of almost sequel game that had a previous instalment on ps3 are pathetic. Motorstorm, Ratchet and Clank, Singstar etc.

3-3.5m

Firstly, Uncharted sold 2m without bundles, and according to Sony it has sold over 2.6m unit (press conference) so we should have it at at least 2.5m

Anyway, from the looks of things, this is going to be a meta 95. Have you seen any negative impressions? They have improved single player, and they have added multiplayer, which is just great, and should help sell it. Uncharted 1 was also a very popular game, so we should see much higher initial sales as most of those who bought it will get it as soon as it comes out. Sony will also do a bit of advertising, which will also boost sales.

Also, can I just point out that inFamous was advertised in America, but not Europe

May I ask what makes his statement wrong?  Uncharted have been bundled with the 160GB PS3 in N. America for a while now.  I always consider you the more unbias PS3 fanboy but you honestly believe it will do over 3 million?

oh yeah the truth i wrote that it sold roughly 2.5mln with bundles and being a platinum series (just like Killzone 2 most of it's sales made by bundles) is of course wrong. and yet saying that Forza2 sold 2mln on bundles alone is ok? wow talking bout hipocrisy and being delusional.

That was not the actual first week, gamestop started selling it early, so you should count week 1 and 2 as week 0 and 1

It's interesting to see the difference in your response when it's a PS3 exclusive in question.

cause there is a huge posibility for Forza3 to sell so much(considering sales of past Forza game lack of competition in 2009, current state of 360 etc). Uncharted 2 will have huge competition and previous game wouldn't sell that well if it wasn't bundled for several months and get a platinum version. Forza 3 have only NFS Shift and Dirt2 as a competitors for several months. Uncharted 2 have Max Payne 3, WET, Modern Warfare 2, Rogue Warrior, Army of Two, Dead to Rights and several other games.
