I am still thinking of trying out XI. Don't know if I'll be able to find the time though. But XIV is a certain buy for me.

i want to be elven this time and i think m main job will be dragoon. i was a hume smn in ff11.

1) Is this really Official? Mod permission?

2) The game doesn't release for over a year! Come ON!

@kantor, this thread is official to me. i didnt see another thread about this game in the way i have done it. did i get mod permission about this being a official thread, nope didnt know i did if its that big of a deal. as for point #2, why is it such a big deal about this thread on a game which is a year away from release? their have been plenty of threads that have been about a game which doesnt come out for a long time, my isnt the 1st as far as i know. all i know is i love square-enix's 1st mmorpg game and i am very excited for their 2nd one as well, so i started a thread to celebrate it, good enough reason for u , huh ? as for point #3 , why does it matter what my op of a official thread look like huh? this is the 2nd time someone since i started this thread that made a comment about a game which is around a year away from release, why does it matter, huh?

I see nothing wrong with making a Final Fantasy XIV Online thread, but you had to put "Official" in the title, and when you do that, firstly, you need mod permission, and secondly, it needs to look like an official thread. So what you're saying is that this thread isn't official?

@kantor, for god sakes. this is complete bullshit. if it bothers u that damn much, fine i will change the thread title and take the "official" out of it, hope u happy now. hope u and the others are now happy that u got your way.

There's no need to be so aggressive. I'm simply giving you some advice for the future, and clarifying that this is not actually an Official Thread.

@kantor, sorry about being mad at u. i am just tired of ppl saying about making a thread about a game which isnt going to be released till fall of next year, its annoying and rude i think. also i cant take the official out of my thread, i tried. i wont make any future threads with the "official" in it.

I got a friend in real life, buying a PS3 so he can play FFXIV. We were all big time FFXI players. I'm not going to brag about it, but I was a very sexy WHM on cerberus! Ok...maybe just a little. :P

I can't wait until GamesCon or TGS so we can hear more information!
