Very interesting, good to have an experienced POV on the matter. Did you have multiple people in the camera's range at once? Would the adjustment affect the way the pale skinned person is detected? Like if you had a white guy and black guy playing side by side at the same time, like how Natal shows a mother and daughter playing, would the adjustment to the lighting allow the system to properly track both players, despite skin tone differences?

I have some experience with IR cameras, the kind you use when installing security systems ( I used to install security systems and cameras).  And I can assure you they will pick up anyone no matter what color skin you have.  And even in low light / no light areas.  I am certain it wouldn't be that big of a deal, if worse come to worse they would just have to change cameras that work on a slightly different wave length.

this is crap i have seen videos where sugar ray leonard demoed natal and from what i remembered he is BLACK. this is just another crap story by some blind fool trying to rain on natal parade, go to youtube and type natal and you will see for yourselves, really some of the topics people come up with

It seems like the videos with black celebrities "playing" can`t be used as proof that there is no issue with dark skin. Some guy at Gaf discovered that there is fake gameplay footage in some of the videos.

Heres the proof of black people playing Natal with no problems. Exactly the same as white people.
