I have some experience with IR cameras, the kind you use when installing security systems ( I used to install security systems and cameras). And I can assure you they will pick up anyone no matter what color skin you have. And even in low light / no light areas. I am certain it wouldn't be that big of a deal, if worse come to worse they would just have to change cameras that work on a slightly different wave length.
