I'll just rebuild a 2000$ computer again and be content :) The best games are on PC anyways.

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.

I probably have more ps3 games than you :/

Well I am a PC fanboy first and foremost. Wont have to go far for my games now will I?

They should go to Microsoft, the best in gaming.

lame. They wouldn't quit before using up all their big guns at the very least. They haven't even released a Gran Turismo yet this gen (ignoring the gloried demo GT5: P) the biggest exclusive of last gen. They haven't even hit the PS2's launch price of $299 yet. Plus they have big games like Uncharted 2, M.A.G., Heavy Rain, Trico, Final Fantasy, Next Metal Gear Solid, Next Ratchet & Clank, Modern Warfare 2, Next Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar's Agent, Resistance 3, Twisted Metal PS3, and many more still to come or probably coming.

Not many sane people, no...  But a disturbing number of fanboys thought it was going to move 10 million PS3s all by its lonesome, followed by another 10 from GT5, and another from WKC, effectively ending the "console wars" with just three games.  Then, God of War 3 was going to move so many systems that the PS3 was going to outsell PS2 and be the console of choice until we're in flying cars.

I'm sorry, I have to call BS on this. What "fanboys" said any of that?

Nevermind, I realize you must be joking, no "sane" person would have said ANY of that.

that sounds more crazzy then the man of the same name....

I was gonna call him out on that, but his post made me laugh, so I thought I'd let it go. XD

I think that I would be done with gaming. Not because I need sony, but because I just don't like the others. Look, I own the 360 and I just don't enjoy it. For some reason the 360 does not appeal to me. It has been awhile since I have bought a game for that system. As far as the wii goes, it seems to gimicky for me. that lack of quality third party support disapoints me. I enjoy my ps3. The ps3 is a well put together machine. Games are great. everybody has their own preference, but lets be real, the ps3 is so damn impressive.

Ever see that episode of south park where Obama wins the election and the people who voted for mccain went and built an ark in a cave? I would say something very similar to that situation:p

Well, Sony definitely won´t drop the PS3, so in this hypothetical case it would mean where would the Sony fans go next gen.

That would be the company that buys Sony's IP/Studio's. There's no telling who would buy those.

What BengaBenga said. Sony only drops out when they say the won't be building a PS n+1. PS3 will get full support for the remainder of its intended lifespan.

I'd go with whichever console gave me the technology I want. PS2 gave me a DVD player, PS3 will give me a blu ray player. If no next gen console has the next big thing in entertainment technology then I probably won't be buying, and as others have stated go back to getting 100% of my gaming fixes from my PC.
