I think you won't used real money here.

I've never bought a racing game before as I'm not too interested in the genre. But I just might give GT5 a try...Congrats PD for making me do something I've always thought would never happen.

its not real money, its been confirmed that the parts will use gt credits but will cost the same amount as the real life shelf prices. u are also able to buy new engines and put them in diff cars.........i really hope this is shown at tgs, sounds amazing.

If they are discussing having these features in the game then it means they aint got it yet. Meaning more development time bla bla bla. How long would it take to add these features in?

The latest confirmed info on GT5 was by Yamauchi,

"I want to release it as fast as I can, but GT5 for us, when you talk about its status, it’s at a point we can release it any time we want, but we can always keep working on it. It’s very important for us to make sure everything is done perfectly and everything is done in detail."

I'd rather they polish everything and take their time so that we'll have a great games for years to come then them rushing it through with some features not working or badly done. It's not like there's a lack of games to play.

Q: Why would you have to go online to buy parts? why wouldn't it be included in the game on the Blu Ray?

My thoughts - The source is either lying and you can't buy parts online.. or the source is right and you can buy parts online with real money.

^Maybe there's simply too much stuff already on the Blu Ray disk?
