Unfortunately, this is all a matter of opinion. I've never been a huge GTA person, and inFamous is my favorite open world game of all time. You do realize that reviews are opinions too, right? It just so happens that not everyone enjoys the same games. Maybe my gaming tastes are different than yours. If I had reviewd the GTA, MGS, etc games and inFamous, inFamous would get the highest score because I've had the most fun with that game.

Only meant to say that by trying to drive home a point of trying to differentiate the matter of opinion towards fact.  Basically mean I could find one of the History Channel games to be one of the best FPS's of this gen but does that nessecarily mean it's true? 

If you think that it's one of the best FPS games, then it's true for you. Opinions are not like a democracy; just because the majority agree on one thing doesn't make it hold up the same for everyone.

My opinion is that inFamous is better than GTA. Most people probably don't agree, but that doesn't mean that it isn't true for me; it is my opinion after all.

Yes of course that's your opinion which is what I was conveying.  By meaing "truly better" (which I shouldn't have said sorry) I just meant which holds more critical acclaim and who's in the minority. 

Okay, I'll forgive you for that then. ^_^

I'm just pointing out that all reviews are opinions, and that not everyone shares those opinions (ex, mixed reviews for AC and Heavenly Sword and I love both of those games). But I do realize that I'm in a pretty large minority with most of my opinions on the major gaming franchises. XD

I'm sorry if you can't let someone have their own opinion. e.e

I personally thought Infamous was a great story and seeing both of the sides of the game is great. I'm going to go for platinum this week. I've just been going through trying to get all the shards in my second time around though. :( Then, I am going to move on to Prototype and hope it's as good of a game.
