Well as everyone knows the game was announced a few days ago and we know;

1. Consists of 800 cars

2. 35 courses and 60 layouts

3. Will be 60fps

4. Ad-hoc multiplayer

5. Will release on UMD and DD on October 1st which is also the date PSP Go releases.

My guess is:

NA - 0.7 million

EU - 1.5 million

Japan - 0.8 million

WW = 3.0 million lifetime adding both UMD + DD

I'm thinking 800 000 USA, 1.7 millions Europe and over one million Japan.

Japan sales should definitely not be overlooked, those Japanese people really love their handhelds.

More than anything I really do expect this game to be a system seller....actually the number of people I known whom purchased a PSP at launch due to the promise of GT mobile is crazy. It should also get software sales for PSP games on a roll again therefore should help LBP PSP, Assassins creed etc sales.

agree this will be a big system mover.

dunno about 1st week it will be large though.

lifetime will sell over 5 million and be a major system seller for the psp. hey its sold me one already im getting the GO at launch with gtpsp
