Forums - Nintendo - Voice-acting on the new Zelda game...

I think voice acting is a must for the next Zelda. Text-only is ancient, and doesn't fit with a game with high production values.

Link should remain as silent as he ever was ofcourse.

I agree with this.... well ,if you cross out "must" anyway.... I am not so concerned about it as to hate the game if it doesn't.

Me too and @

*~Onna76~* don't worry about that there won't be a voice acting in Zelda.

i think they should definately get voice acting in the next game. lets look at the first resident evil for the playstation, totally sucky voice acting but it still was a revolutionary game. true fans will never hate zelda. even when it went to cell shading we still loved it. lets try seeing something new for a change.

Why fix something that aint broken?

Zelda without Voice Acting is fine!

It would completely enhance it. The text boxes take away from the character's personalities and the story.

Sooner or later it has to happen, right? Either that or we have this same conversation every time another main entry in the franchise is due... and text will look more and more outdated as time goes by.

Might as well get it over, and go all the way--have Link talk. I mean, adding voice to Mario didn't kill that franchise; Zelda will survive it.

I don't think I would care either way. I'm fine reading text, and I would be fine with voice actors.

On the other hand, it it turns out bad...I'm going to be pissed.
