Forums - Nintendo - If E3 was later...

do you think Nintendo would of showed more stuff? Because Usually E3 is in July but they pushed it to June now and Miyamoto said that they didn't show Pikmin and Zelda because they didn't have anything to show because the teams are still small and they needed more time.

One thing.. Since when was E3 in July? I remember E3 2006 was like May 10th..

I don't think they'd have shown any more than they did, as Miyamoto said, Pikmin 3 is really only the groundwork, the game is still in an early build. They may just have shown Zelda though. If that extra time gave the Zelda team the thought they were for along enough then perhaps. Otherwise it would have been basically the same except maybe one or two solid release dates.

I can't stand it when people say "would of." "Would've" is a contraction for "Would HAVE."

Just saying...

On topic, you must remember that in addition to their wonderful E3, Nintendo also has their October conference.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

What Puffy said.

last year was in May. Miyamoto would have more to ahow about the next Zelda if it was in June

Haha, this is true, and a good reason why we should not use contractions in written communication.

Also, Zelda was shown at E3, just not to the general public. I doubt another month would see Pikmin or Zelda that much further along.

A piece of concept art was shown behind closed doors.  No demo, trailer, screenshot, or even hint at gameplay or story were shown.  Hell, they didn't even describe what the concept art meant.

Thank god I'm not the only person who goes absolutely mad over things like that.
