What I find amazing is that we continue to talk about how GT5 is Better or Forza 2/3 is better...  In the span of GT5 (full game development), we will have seen TWO completely finished (and high quality) games from Turn 10.  GT5 BETTER blow Forza 3 out of the water or it is a sad testament.  Just being a little better isn't going to cut it for the amount of time and resources that have gone into the game.

I'm anxiously awaiting Forza 3 only because I liked 2 so much.  I have GT5:P sitting here and I'll admit that the graphics are really solid, but as far as gaming "fun", I still prefer Forza 2.

I agree, neither game "destorys" another, but the are so great, that the difference should be found outside of technical graphics for most gamers...like artstyle and gameplay.

I don't think any of us know how F3 and GT5 will compared. I, for my part, was simply commenting on a statement in the OP, and then commenting on rebuttles from Sony fans.

Yes, the graphical difference between the two franchises will always be negligable. 

Personally, I like GT more than Forza by playing the previous games. I prefer GT because It feels better to me, I love the way cars handle in it. Another reason is that Im a better racer in GT   ....and I always like games that Im good at.

Well duh, what else would they be doing after they finish Forza 3?

@ kn, PD have also had to make Gran Turismo PSP and they have released Prologue, which sold a nice 3.6m copies, and we don't know the size of Turn 10, PD employ 110 people

That's all well and good for the economy, but where I work, we try to work smarter and not harder. What one man can do, another can do, and with innovation in procedure, 1 man can do the work of 10. That goes for coding, or ditch digging.

As regards to the whole innovation thing, do Gran Turismo fans really desire major innovation? Sure, small things like tyre deformation would be nice, but really all GT fans want is nice graphics, lots of cars, lots of tracks and the GT driving mechanics.

For this reason PD don't have to evolve the series
