I believe Sony makes good money from advertisements and not just the micro transactions made by PS3 owners. Like I doubt Sony paid Redbull to put a space in HOME. I am sure it was the opposite.
To touch up on Kowenicki arguing about the PR "lying". When MS talks about their $50/year charge, do they say it is because they want your money or because they use it to help the community?
Put yourself in their shoes. What would you do?
You gonna come out and say "We have HOME because we want your money. It is not about the community, it is all about getting you all to spend your hard earned cash on our virtual items."
Go ahead and act like it is something you can bitch about. You go ahead and do that and see how long you last in a PR job.
In all honestly you are complaining about something so stupid.. Something that is not at fault to just Sony, MS, Nintendo, etc... All PR from all companies do the same shit. It is their job.
