Forums - Gaming Discussion - Holiday 09 - PS3 vs. 360 games

Now, post-E3, let's have a look at the two HD console's remaining 2009 games:

PS3:

-- Uncharted 2

-- Ratchet and Clank: a Crack in Time

-- MAG

-- Demon's Souls

360:

-- Halo 3: ODST

-- Forza III

-- Splinter Cell: Conviction

-- Left 4 Dead 2

Alright then, console warriors, who wins?

Personally, I'm gonna go with 'a tie', with the PS3 just about taking the win for the entire year (because, in my opinion, Killzone 2 + InFamous > Halo Wars + Star Ocean).

I agree. Why should 9 months of the year not matter for the holiday line ups?

I thought there were more exclusive games for each console this holiday?

If it is just these then I also agree it is a tie.

The PS3 lineup is more in line with my tastes, so it´s PS3 for me.

Next year it´s practically a tie for me.

And a possible GT5... ;)

I can see why you don't factor it in just yet, though.

For me the PS3 lineup wins, mainly because I love Ratchet so much.

For the remainder of 2009? 360 wins.

There's no guarantees that Demon's Souls and MAG are any good, but at least with 3 out of 4 for the 360 there's been proven success on the platform already. (I hope Demon Souls is good though, I'm in need of a good RPG)

Also L4D is epic.

For all of 2009? I'd say PS3. It's had a pretty consistent flow of good titles (exclusive and non-exclusive) where as the 360 has really relied on 3rd party for the first half of 2009.

GT5 is able to release "whenever we want" which i'd put $5 means this holiday about 1 week before forza.

I think E3 they concentrated on PSP and the games and for TGS they'll talk about the Ps3 revision and its games.

Calamity - DS isnt proven good? from all the people who imported the asian version i only hear good things.

Demon's Souls got 8's and 9's all across the board, puh-lease... that along with excellent feedback from VGC players.

And with MAG, jsut watch the E3 footage and see Zippers track record.

The Sony line-up is very much proven.
