Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360 One-ups PlayStation with Natal and a Stolen Exclusive

Microsoft has been on a roll at E3 2009: Dropping bombs and shooting stars all in the name of Xbox 360 has been Microsoft's game this year. Microsoft's press conference dropped jaws with shocking announcements: Spielberg pitches Natal. Beatles reunite to talk about Rock Band. Microsoft promises 1080P resolution to Xbox 360 movie streams. James Cameron even talked about an upcoming game by Ubisoft; Avatar. To ad insult to injury
of the ailing Sony, Xbox 360 even nabbed a PS3 exclusive. It looks like Microsoft wanted to shock us into submission this year.

MGSR supposed to be PS3 exclusive???? Konami never said that and neither Kojima

What's funny is that Sony actually "stole" an MS exclusive...

Lost Planet 2 became multiplat -- which was a smart move for Sony, because it looks amazing.

But you wouldn't know that unless you watched the Sony Press Conference, and noticed when Jack Tretton said something to the effect of "Oh yeah, Lost Planet 2 will also be coming to the PS3," before moving on to some other game.

Not the most impressive showmanship :)

capcom said the days of exclusive are over. when lost planet was released. thats why deadrising is multiplatform.

Yeah, and then they announced Lost Planet 2 for 360 and PC exclusively, and it was talked about that way over a period of several months... I'm betting Sony had to pay something, or give some support, to get Capcom interested.

I think he's talking about FF14.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
