When GT5:P came out it was pretty tricky to tell if the screenshots were real life or not, even in a side by side comparison. With Forza 3 it isn't difficult to see that they are from a game.

Having said that they do look nice.

I love how Sony touched up the photos for GT5P.  The same is probably happing for Forza3 and GT5

I noticed a lot of people posting pics that are not showing actual gameplay. Most of what I have seen are renders eithor off platform or through the screenshot within the game which smooths out the edges and in some cases adds extra effects.

Good point, and I agree. It's really easy to distinguish these from real life, with GT5:P, not so much.

Also, where did you get your 1 million poly count from? Source?

Those screenshots are absolutely gorgeous, but I am curious to see some high resolution gameplay screenshots.

The official site has a replay video montage and gamersyde has offscreen (good quality) of real gameplay.
