Forums - Microsoft - Who is buying MGS5 Rising on the 360?

Shrug, waiting on reviews as usual

But if I have to sit through 40 min-long cutscenes, my money's going elsewhere. I'm really enjoying this trend of building the narrative into the gameplay, long-ass exposition is starting to feel like something of the past.

ahah, I've been ignoring this thread for weeks since i've never intended to purchase MGS 5 (or MGS4 as I said in my thread)..

I decided to see what the big deal was and why its still around and surprise surprise!! It's quoting one of my threads!

haha too awesome!

To whoever (CatFangs806) that's still telling themselves that this is exclusive to 360, it's time to face reality. Think of it this way, you get Cross Edge Dash, we get this. It's kind of unfair towards us, but I'm sure the upgraded PS3 versions of SOIV and ToV are coming to NA soon.

Sorry about that. I seriously thought that it was 360 exclusive. Well, at least PS3 people will be happy as well.

By the time MGS Rising releases, there won't be many people left interested in buying a 360. Choices and opinions now are going to be very different by the end of 2010, that's my prediction.

I'm sorry aparently there was a typo...you meant to say PS3 in your statement and not X360. It's ok we forgive you. :)

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

I wouldn't count on it too much, especially Star Ocean 4. ToV looking at namco bandai track record it has a 50/50 shot.

Eh im probably gonna get it on 360 because of In-game music. Not even interested in it alot because its a spin-off apparently that doesnt even use stealth, but im a mgs fan so I hope it gets good reviews. Heres to hoping its not a Ninja gaiden or DMC rip-off. I'm looking forward to MGS: Peacemaker since it's apart of the story.

Simple:

-360 only owners that want MGS:R will buy it on 360
-PS3 only owners that want MGS:R will buy it on PS3
-PC only owners that want MGS:R will buy it on PC

Now, the people that have 2 or more of this platforms (or will have it by the time MGS:R releases) are the ones that can answer this question, for instance, i'm a PS3-Wii-PC owner, and i don't know yet, probably it will be the PS3 version...

I would consider buying it if the story, gameplay, and presentation are nothing whatsoever like any of the other entries in the series.

In short, no.
