OT: Sony just edged it for me, PSP dominated and PS3 looked to have a solid line up.

The Last Guardian looks amazing. Uncharted 2 is being named game of the show. And Final Fantasy 14 got unveiled.

this is just sad, sad for gaming and very sad for the industry

nin comes in with a ton of core games and a small smattering of casual and they get a fucking c+

you have 2 shows scoring higher then nin and both of them showed multiplatform games for almost or over half of there show, the rest is made up a few a new exclusives and games we have known about for more then a year in most cases

and they get bs and as......a craptastic joke....


then you have nin giving out tons of core games with most of them new announcements and a piece of hardware that lets games adapt

i know its hard to imagine something with out boobs and blood addign to a game, but picture a survial horro that is reading your heart rate and adjusting accordingly by either adding to our taking away from teh moment.....bt no thats to hard right that would require you to be impressed

this is a truly sad day for this industry......just when the would is starting to look at us gamers as a serious thing we go and show how much like little children we can be

Microsoft easily won E3 this year but I would have put Nintendo second and Sony Third.

You know I trash talked Nintendo's E3 2008 Press Conference for over a year. And, I basically did it because I really didn't like Wii Music and I felt that a system like the Wii if it was really going to dominate the industry then it needed to show some really amazing games and give the promised support to core Nintendo fan's that I thought was lacking.

Well, I think they did that amazingly this year. Pick up any enthusiast video game magazine written since it was revealed that Metroid: Prime was going to be FP, and you'll see them always saying, "We want a new 2d next or current (post SNES quality) gen Metroid. Well, Nintendo delivered that this year and it looked amazing in the E3 presentation. So, anybody giving Nintendo a C+ this year doesn't have a clue.

Also, Golden Sun DS (another long awaited title), Crystal Beareres (despite the Wii's graphical limitations) looking to be an amazing FF game (even if it isn't a main series game), Mario Galaxy 2, and Miyamoto's behind doors unveiling of the new Zelda, and you have a conference that blows away Microsoft's which simply lacked one exclusive as compelling as any on Sony and Nintendo.

Both Sony and Nintendo thouroughly trounced Microsoft this year. And the only thing that either one was missing was Kingdom Hearts 3 coming to their platform.

As did G4 and numorous other sites. Seems popular opinion is Microsoft, Sony, then Nintendo. To me Ninty and Sony about tied this year.

I bet it's not the same popular opinion as there is in Japan. I guarantee with The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy XIV, Metroid:  The Other M, Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros.  Wii, GT PSP and 5, and the true sequel to MGS 4 on PSP in Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker on the way, that Famitsu isn't making the ludicrous claim that Microsoft won.

Infra-red. Natal can work in the dark, and it has depth perception, which isn't the case with the Eye.
