True enough, but this a WAY more fantasy based then Gears is, there more DMC/Advent Chidren styled combat, something that GEARS does not have one bit.

 

So no, that alone makes it new Style aside.

I wonder how much influence Team Ninja will put on this to make unlike Gears. We all know the female character uses a sword, I'm interested to see how she'll play.

Exactly, and the guy used not only a Gears-Like gun, but he has some kinda of strange Dante-Like power to.
