Well in a way i can kind of understand why it would take so long
Kind of like the International versions of FF games, but now they have to patch in this new content to the Japanese version and localize that as well as localizing and completing work on this new content for NA/EU...
But to take more than a year?
This was released 25 Dec 2008 in Japan IIRC, so for them to take until early 2010 for this is a bit extreme IMO

Why the hell is it taking so long, I hope they are already well through development of the sequel
Anyway, FF XIII, they are currently aiming for a Spring 2010 release, but I see that as unlikely, and the EU release date is just 2010

Nah, don't worry, the mediocrity part was just in reference to Cross Edge. I added the comment because I generally don't like to include games that aren't good in lists like this.
Enchanted Arms was average as well, but wasn't a total dud at the time of its release.

sony dont rush the developers to finish the games quickly.. QUALITY!! important.. i dont want half assed rpgs like last remnant or star ocean 4..
Can't say I am happy with the delay.
I don't feel either that the extra content will make the delay worth it...
Pretty stupid to wait to release it around the same period FF XIII will release in NA too.
It will just ensure poor sales for the game...
PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !
PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

By all accounts that game has more then enough content to tie RPG lovers over. (Albeit of the Western variety) I would love to play WKC asap, but with the aforementioned game and the fact they're delaying it for extra content, features and fixes, I can live with waiting a couple more months.
