Forums - Microsoft - Hamilton F1 sim aids Forza 3

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=216850

Turn-10 Studios is pulling out all the stops to make sure Forza 3 isn't just another racing sim, but the racing sim. And it's doing that by sneaking a peek at data yanked from the simulator Lewis Hamilton uses for practice.

"Their simulator was an influence on the game," director Dan Greenwalt told OXM. "We were swapping notes on how they do the complex fluid dynamics for their aerodynamics as well as how they generally simulate tyres, offroad surfaces and what have you.

"That was very helpful for us, to be able to swap notes with basically a commercial grade - where there is no expense spared - simulator and learn the sort of tricks they've learnt and give them basically to the masses at 60 bucks."

Codemasters and its F1 game must be gutted.

Button is good, but Lewis and Alonso are a different class. Lewis has had a car all season that is no better than mid grid. He has regularly put it in the top 6.

Monaco he made a mistake though. Even Michael Jordan made mistakes. :)
