I really think it's gonna come out this gen...the 360 hasn't seem to hit that barrier yet graphically...and the way this geen is going it hard to see if even in the next 5 years we'll have new gen. We might a Atari like gen ( for the older people in these forums) on our hands.

Good observation there. I say it only depends on how much PC development will be going in the next few years.

Nothing the big 3 companies sell will be cheap. I'm not sure how well it will go with the casual family crowd. I personally prefer to hold something when I play a game. Playing Wii Sports with just my hand isn't the same experience as holding something.

I think it really depends on the situation...

If Microsoft starts slipping in the console war they will introduce it much cheaper. If they stay solidly in second they will sell it at a higher price...

But, just like consoles, after a few years it will either become part of the bundle or be a very low priced add-on.
