Forums - Nintendo - What Wii games are set to launch this year?

I know New Super Mario Bros Wii is coming this year and I am really excited for it and would like to know what other titles are actually set to release this year from what was shown during their conference.

Thanks in advance.

I didn't get to see the Nintendo conference and was hoping someone could give me a little info.

Kinda weak...but it's what I expected. Next year is when the BIG stuff will come from them (as I also expected :P).

At least there's a ton of awesome third party games coming...Arc Rise Fantasia, Silent Hill, Fragile, Sakura Wars, FFCC: TCB, Overlord, Red Steel 2 (?), Ju On (?), Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Conduit, Muramasa, Little King's Story, Phantom Brave...

Almost forgot about Muramasa! That game looks beautiful. I have Odin's Sphere and I love the way it looks and plays and Muramasa looks just as amazing.

My goodness I can not believe I forgot about that game. I am a sucker for side scrollers.

Thanks!

NSMBWii + Muramasa + Silent Hill remake =  Awesomeness.

I am possibly interested in Sin and Punishment 2 for next year. Is the original on the VC by any chance? If so, would I need to play it or are the two games not related?

@Soundwave

Darkside Chronicles is the rail shooter RE title that follows RE-RE3 right? If so I will want to play that too.

Is the Sin and Punishment and Sin and Punishment 2 storylines connected? Anyone know?

Well the main character is the son of the characters in S&P1 so yeah.

So I guess i'll need to play the first one then. No biggie, I enjoy those kind of games.

You could pass on it. The story in the first game makes no sense whatsoever. If the sequel makes any sense at all, I doubt playing the first will help you understand it.
