You are aware that a high percentage of HD console owners either had the original NES (or for the youngins, their parents had it)? Most NES owners either played/rented/had a friend who had Castlevania. It's a well-known IP.
This is actually a very smart move. Conservatively, I'd figure at least around a million unit seller on each console. I'd reckon 1.25-1.5mil for the 360, 0.75mil-1.0 mil PS3.
Stop getting so excited about a Kid Icarus remake... the original NES Icarus sucked.
Well it sounds like its looking good, and the more good news the better. Personally, I have never played a Castlevania game, and in general I am not a great fan of God of War type games (though I do like God of War, but the theme helps greatly), but it is Kojima... which should also move a few extra copies
I agree with munkeh, I'll at least give this a try, any GoW like games sound good to me. We'll see how it turns out next year I guess, still waiting on that trailer.

Holy shit! MercurySteam has certainly stepped up their game since Jericho.
MEGATON!!!.. a new Castlevania by KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS... WOW.. all i can say is BELIEVE!!! this along with Metroid: Other M are the games of the show for me
