Forza 3 is coming out & it looks fabulous, innovative, fresh & sexy.

But GT Portable is also coming out this fall, now this is a title delayed to no ends & has finally resurfaced. Its from the highest selling racing franchise to grace this planet!

They both release near about the same time

One is on a  handheld with a  50 Million + userbase but LOTS OF PIRACY.......one is on a Console with by then 35 Million + userbase with the highest attach rate

It'll depend on bundles and also GTM will be mostly downloaded, I know I'm downloading it.

I feel GT:Portable will loose this.

It will win if we count ONLINE SALES....RETAIL SALES wise it won't get this crown.

GT:P will sell 5 Million (inclusing DD) ---- 3 Million without DD

Forza 3 will sell 4 Million

Im edging towards Forza Motorsport 3. Number 2 sold almost 4million copies and it was strictly aimed at hardcore racing fans. Forza Motorsport 3 however is aimed for everyone. It still has its hardcore racing simulation but it has lots of assists you can turn on and off like auto braking and racing lines for those casuals. It also improves on "everything" that was in Forza 2 plus more. With a strong marketing campaign which Microsoft are great at, this game should sell a bomb.

Also Psps game sales figures aren't as good as they should be. The top selling games are GTA titles and are 5.72 mill and 3.43m.

both will be pirated heavily for sure but Forza will probably win this one.

@ Darth: The Xbox 360 will have digital distribution of games coming out in August/September. Forza 3 comes out in October. So the whole online sales thing works both ways.

I would give it to Forza 3 simply because Xbox 360 users buy many more games than PSP users. I suspect piracy less than the number of people using the PSP as a portable media player rather than a gaming device.

I think this is a battle gt might not win. But with all the online sales it'll get it'll be hard to tell.

I think it will sell better on the hand held by a little bit just because it will beat it to launching and being cheaper and so many people were waiting so long for it then again it lost some of its luster waiting so long for it but it will probably be 40 not 60 and the biggest thing will be japan and somewhat erope that go crazy but japan will probably sell 2 million alone.

GTp will give Forza3 a beat down.

I think Forza 3 will edge GTM out because the atrocious piracy on the PSP. Ah, and Forza 2 was heavily bundled.
