In the roundtable discussion with Miyamato he stated that their is no room for online in NSMB wii because the wii just does not have enough processing power for it.  

I have to say I'm really dissapointed to see this is the maximum of wiis potential.  This is a huge limitation as this could be a reason they don't implement it in future titles.

How do you guys feel about that statement?

What more can they put? Better graphics? No. The game looks fine. But it better be longer than 6 hours!

Well since none of us have actually played the game, let alone the game in its entirety, I wouldn't trust any of our judgments when it comes to how impressive we find what happens graphically in the game. We've seen like 7 minutes cumulative of the game.

Not with Warp Whistles.

While the game will still be fun with friends in the same room, online is a necessity nowadays. They can't allow themselves to do another mistake like that!

If The Conduit can pull off 12 players while being one of the best looking games out there... I just don't know what they're thinking! Miyamoto has to be lying... I'm assuming he's just a lazy bum! xD

Even Metroid push the Wii harder. I guess Miyamoto was trying to avoid the lack of online in NSMB.

I don't buy it. Not for a second.

Well, i accept the fun that Nintendo give us now.(And forever.)

If they can't now, then i'll wait till next Ninty console to play it. :)
