Forums - Microsoft - You actually play RUSE on the Surface Table

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/02/ubisoft-reveals-ruse-surprise/

For those of you with the $15,000 Microsoft Surface at home, good news! You'll be able to play Ruse on it, apparently. We hope the five of you out there enjoy it immensely. Ubisoft is showing off the real-time strategy game at E3 on a Surface table, which really lends a lot of credibility to the Euro-trailer we made so much fun of before. Talk about an overpriced peripheral. Maybe next time they'll go mini and demo it on an iPhone. Either way, it's a smudgefest. Tags: e3-2009, microsoft, Ruse, surface, Ubisoft

Holy crap, the trailer was real. Why are they making this? Surface isn't even on sale at retail.

MS must have funded it :)

Why dont they make a Natal version? You can sweep across the map with the simple flick of your wrist and move units by clipping them with your fingers.

wow, I thought that trailer was just for an RTS game, i didn't realize it was actually for Surface. BOOOO, put it out on PC regular.

i thought that was just to make the game look cooler, interesting that it actually functions.

Might be nice for their retail stores to get people to come in.

Lol, I don't think Surface will cost $15k when they are trying to make 100,000 of them a year. Thats probably the prototype cost.

Tease.

lol if only i had a surface

Long Live SHIO!

Very true, the price will probably drop a lot once they are mass produced. Still it will be expensive because it can only drop so much and starting from $15,000 it has a long way to go before it can hit mainstream.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
