What happened to the awesome "bringing it home" stuff they used to do.
Anyone remember, you could download the whole presentation. On top of that they released several, maybe 5 or 6 really kick ass game demos you could play at home. They would release some arcade game or special content and tell you during the press conference "you can now go download it on live" like Sony did with FF7.
What have we gotten like that?? As of this morning still just some segmented crappy videos, a FEW trailers... I wanted to see the entire play through of Splinter Cell and instead it was a butchered video that lasted about 1 minute.
On top of that, NO real good demos. I'm at work so forgive me if they gave us some awesome stuff today, but as of me leaving this morning I had seen nothing. A demo of Guitar Hero Smash Hits that came out technically before e3 even happened.
These games are probably playable on the show floor, ODST, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell, Modern Warfare 2, why can't we try them? Would it hurt to show some love Microsoft.
Bringing it Home was my favorite part of e3 in the last few years because I can't attend. Now its gone and we get crappy little segments from Major Nelson and some Themes we can PAY for. Thanks!
