Forums - Microsoft - guess they stopped 'bringing it home'

What happened to the awesome "bringing it home" stuff they used to do.

Anyone remember, you could download the whole presentation. On top of that they released several, maybe 5 or 6 really kick ass game demos you could play at home. They would release some arcade game or special content and tell you during the press conference "you can now go download it on live" like Sony did with FF7.

What have we gotten like that?? As of this morning still just some segmented crappy videos, a FEW trailers... I wanted to see the entire play through of Splinter Cell and instead it was a butchered video that lasted about 1 minute.

On top of that, NO real good demos. I'm at work so forgive me if they gave us some awesome stuff today, but as of me leaving this morning I had seen nothing. A demo of Guitar Hero Smash Hits that came out technically before e3 even happened.

These games are probably playable on the show floor, ODST, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell, Modern Warfare 2, why can't we try them? Would it hurt to show some love Microsoft.

Bringing it Home was my favorite part of e3 in the last few years because I can't attend. Now its gone and we get crappy little segments from Major Nelson and some Themes we can PAY for. Thanks!

1 vs. 100

It's not XBLA Wednesday, either. E3 does end in 2 days. Remember that

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Yeah, I'll reserve my final thoughts until its over with. Although I don't know if 1 vs. 100 counts, they were doing that with or without e3 and they didn't even mention it in their conference.

5 or 6 kickass demos, damn I don't remember that ..

That's because it was more like 1 or 2.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

personally i dont mind. theyre just demoes and i dont even have time for the games i currently own not to mention want. I dont have time to play demoes so this is of very little importance to me. Just my 2 cents

Long Live SHIO!

It was more than that dude.  I'll split the diff and say 3 or 4.

Alright, I found what they gave demo wise in 2007.

Blue Dragon
Ace Combat 6
NCAA Football 2008
Stuntman: Ignition
The BIGS
Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix

Granted, not that great, I enjoyed the heck out of the Blue Dragon demo. I couldn't find or remember 2008's demos but it included Too Human.

Either way, that is better than NO DEMOS.

Wait, didn't they release a demo for Fight Night Round 4?

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!
