Its seems so. Just want to mention that Sony seems to be ripping off nitnendo more so than Microsoft...

Yes, but Microsoft's isn't 1:1 and has a vague 2010 release date. And I've seen reports of a $200 price tag; is that right?

It certainly does 1:1 and even at $200 compare that to a complete Wii Controller setup.

WiiMote $40
Nunchuck $20
WiiMotion+ $20

2 of those setups sets you back $160.  You only need 1 Natal for everyone. Not to much difference.

As for the Sony. I didnt see the demo.  I did read one thing that said no way to control player movement. No nunchuk like device. So how do you control the player? Is it all on rails?

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Wiimote + nunchuk are bundled free with every wii. not and aditional cost.

in a word, yes.

both look kind of silly but since sony's seems more of a direct rip-off of the wiimote with motion+ there is a better chance of support (imo) just from the porting wii games to the ps3. who knows, might increase the number of "mature" games on the wii if there is a second console to put games like madworld on.

..both are doomed to fail though imo.

Well sony did say motion controls were released in the ps2 era.. with eyetoy

But yes techincaly they have confirmed motion controls.

Now the question is when do we see Natal and this Sony thing? 2-3 years?

By then Nintendo will have an even better thing to show us.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

By that reasoning motion controls were released in the NES era.. with power glove.

Wouldn't the amazing sales of the Wii have proven Nintendo right?
