seriously, nintendo gives us a galaxy clone and 2 good loking games and all of a sudden people are going nuts. how low are your standards for the wii now? one game in 2010 and thats it for you? please. Halo is bigger and if MSFT just came out and announced halo 4 and MSFT vitality wed consider it epic failure.....

the new mario game is the best sounding and best thing form this conference.

METROID

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Nintendo conference over. Nintendo get most improved so far....will likely win e3 once I've calmed down.

Microsoft had more game announcements, and more innovative announcements by far, and more announcements in general, so nintendo did ok, but microsoft was on another level.

Then again im a core gamer.

No, MS's ideas were three years too late to be innovative, and it game announcements were pathetic compared to multiple new Marios and a Metroid

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Not a bad conference, but it was boring here and there. 7/10

SMG2 and Metroid Project M looked really good - nice showing Nintendo

If they just showed the last 15 minutes I would have been happy. Nice announcments! Overall though MS was better.

yea i think 2 fucking Marios + a Yoshi wins

No zelda is a little bit disappointing, but really... mario bros. wii, mario galaxy 2, metroid, golden sun. We can't expect everything. I think overall it was an excellent conference. 9/10
