Not that I would be too surprised to see another 2D mario after New Super Mario Bros. was so successful, but having pictures of Mario at a Nintendo booth does not necessarily mean that Nintendo is producing a 2D Mario game or that the game will be for the Wii.

It says Super Mario Bros. Wi (the other "i" is cut off) ... I think it's safe to assume it's SMB Wii. I called this like last week btw.

Seems like Nintendo is taking a business like approach to E3 this year. They needed big sellers especially for Japan and it looks like they are taking no chances this holiday. Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Fit 2, Wii Sports 2, essentially ... the biggest guns they could probably offer all coming.

I'm very intrigued. If this is New Super Mario Bros. Wii and is coming out this year... I'd be very happy.

Not long to wait. Anyone else think the 'Wii' logo is being used to help bolster sales, like Kart Wii?

Sweet. I love the New Super Mario Bros on DS, I would love a full fledged super detailed huge one on wii.

Looks to simplistic from what they showed on the conference. Was hoping it would be as advanced as Super Mario World but seems simplistic like New Super Mario Bros.
