Forums - Nintendo - RUMOR - Early shots of Nintendo booth show Mario Bros Wii!

I don't want to say it's confirmed, but those behind-the-curtain images sure seem like that! Cort is working on some image enhancement right now. Thanks to everyone that sent this in!

EDIT : MISTAKE - PUT A QUESTIONMARK IN THE EXCLAMATION MARK'S PLACE!

I hope it's 2D and doesn't heavily use trial and error.

Super Mario Bros 2 for DS?

Could have swore someone said those pics were from the Wii area of the booth.

Also, there appears to be a RACCOON tail!

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

But didn't they already announce a new Mario Wii game by the end of the year? And isn't E3 entirely about revealing information about upcoming games?

The info was leaked but never officially announced.

Look in the IGN VC topic and it looks like the New Mario Bros logo but for Wii.

It's a Wii game, go to the IGN podcast episode 49 thread, we're discssing it there.

Also Rubang, they haven't announced a new Mario game, Nikkei stated there was one coming, not officially confirmed but basically go over to that thread and it's pretty clear

Wow, that really looks convincing. Everybody cross your fingers.

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy
