Forums - Microsoft - Any hints on a cheaper or larger HDD?

I bought my 60GB harddrive for 135$. I really feel bad because it sounds like a waste of money (and it is in a way).

And about the transfer cable. You have to call MS for that normally they ship one for free but you maybe don't know it but go to Xbox live download history and you can redownload all the stuff again you had from xbox live.

Or you must live in a country where you can only download 10GB a month.

yeah its a rip off. But i got my 120 GB hdd back in january 07. its completly full with game installs. Hopefully they announce a larger size and i will go buy it

Long Live SHIO!

I tell you - I still have my transfer cable - I have no plans to let it go either. I'll just hop to the next size and transfer my saves and stuff.

I think MS only sends out a free transfer cable if you buy a new elite, and they want a s/n for it. I know I can buy certain HDD models, crack open my PC to hook both drives up, copy them , disassemble the 20gb case, stick in the 120GB drive etc.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.
