No hate at all. I use my PS3 browser at times. Mainly for porn and other streaming videos. However, it's undeniable that the browser is second rate when you compare it to a PC browser. What Microsoft is doing isn't about accessing Facebook and Twitter, it's about controlling them from your 360 entirely and molding them into the NXE itself. It's far different than merely accessing the website from your PS3 browser. I mean can you add photos and videos from your PS3 directly to your Facebook account open on the PS3 browser? I just searched Google to check and I didn't come up with anything.

yes ? atleast i think i added photos to my facebook once that way. I'm not sure though. May have been something else.

Im so ashamed of Microsoft. I mean, to think that the awesome benefits of the PS3 browser were understated. You have to forgive them, because I will bear this shame alone.

I actually have some good ideas as to why MS won't put a browser on their 360.

Also how does the PS3 not get viruses or anything like that while surfing?

same way that max and linux don't get viruses. Most viruses are written for windows.

I must say that I was asking myself why they don't just add a browser. Admittedly, I have no interest in either of those, though I do use twitter to keep track of game developers twits. The reason I want a browser in my console is just for BBC iPlayer, maybe they could add that in separately?

Its being completely integraded instead of using the crappy console web browsers.

because they would use an ie alternate and it would be so prone to virus attacks, last thing microsoft need is problems with a 360 browser.
