Wasn't this a foregone conclusion? Sony underwhelming at E3 because their method is to make all their big announcements during the "down time" between the holidays and E3 to garner hype and support, whereas M$ does a latter-3/4 of the year drive to the holidays?
Sony "loses" E3 every year, but takes the first quarter with big news. I'm pretty sure it's been that way all generation...
I was mentioning this months ago, and had folks just flaming me for it, but it just seemed like SOP for Sony's "wow" line-up to be "yeah, we've seen all that already..." at E3, and M$'s "dead line-up" now looks extra-ordinary (Natal and TWO Halo games would have been enough to wow, knowing the power of the Halo trademark... let alone L4D2 and all the new functionality). It will be the same next year... When all this stuff hits, M$ will be riding a wave up to January or so, then Sony will announce 6 new games that sound awesome, and we won't hear from M$ and Nintendo until E3... And the cycle continues.
