Forums - Sony - Why is the new psp so ugly?

interesting idea.. I think 32GB would have made more sense since a 16GB would hold say.. what 11-13 titles?
considering i might wanna plonk music and video in this thing.. that would probably restrict me to 5-6 titles.

Small(er) screen= no win.. the biggest selling point to me was always the awesome screen the PSP had..

Erasing the UMD drive was perfect.. but they should have put in a cart slot. Carts have a good chance of making a comeback with recent price drops.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

It will apparently have a Memory Stick Micro slot, which holds a maximum of 16GB at the present.
If you invest in those I doubt you'll ever run into storage problems.

As for the amount of titles it will hold onboard, I think the actual figure will be around 16-20. Most PSP games are far under a gigabyte, with only the bigger projects/franchises exceeding it.

Arsenicazure, the PSP-Go has a memory stick micro slot, which is better than any cart slot. This is a device designed for true portability, hence its form factor and layout. Personally I grown to like the design, but at first (particularly the low res photo's that first came out) I thought it looked cheap. Yes, natively it can only store 8 games minimum at a time, but with memory sticks constantly dropping in price, you'll have the ability to upgrade. Plus having 32GB would push the price too high. It'll most likely come out cheaper than a ipod touch 8gb, even though it can do way more.

The pluses well outweigh the negative in my opinion, with better battery life, fast load times, much more portable (can actually fit in a normal pocket now).

True.. but memory stick micro 16GB costs around $90+.. whereas SD costs about $40...

Time to let M2 go sony..

I just think that the PSP Go is useless for PSP games, because it has only 16GB, games like Dissida are almost 2GB.......... so, you can't have more than 8 games. This is madness.
